Homeowners Affected by the Eaton Fire: You May Have Property Tax Refunds Waiting
Make sure your address is updated so you don’t miss critical mail from LA County

If your property was damaged or destroyed in the January wildfires, including the Eaton Fire, you may be eligible for property tax relief or a refund through the Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office.
The County has already begun issuing:
Property tax refund checks
Other important property tax documents
But many of these are being returned undelivered because displaced homeowners have not updated their mailing address on file.
