$15,000 in Emergency Aid Now Available for Seniors Who Lost Homes in the Eaton Fire
New program offers direct support to Altadena homeowners aged 65 and older
The Altadena Community Preservation Fund is now accepting applications for one-time $15,000 bridge payments to support seniors who lost their homes during the Eaton Fire.
This assistance is designed to cover immediate and mid-term needs like housing, essentials, and recovery costs. Funds will be distributed until they run out, so early application is strongly encouraged.
Who qualifies:
Must be at least 65 years old
Primary residence was in Altadena and destroyed in the Eaton Fire
Lived within Census Tracts 4602, 4603.01, 4603.02, or 4610
Must be uninsured or underinsured, including FAIR Plan policyholders
